Celebrating 50 years of a church in Crookhorn
On 27th October 1974 the first service of the new church in Crookhorn took place at Morelands School. The service was attended by 176 people (about 130 more than anticipated!)
We want to celebrate the fact that we are 50 years old. We will commemorate it in the service on 27th October but we would also like to have a bring and share meal to celebrate where we have come from.
So bring something good to eat and come armed with stories and photos of CoGS in days of yore. We will also lay out a huge timeline and plot a map of our history which we will use for our 50th celebrations of the building in 4 years time.
Come and join us
