At CoGS we are passionate about our community and that‘s right across all age groups.
So as well as the children‘s activities we have lots of other activities.

We have a Bus Stop right outside our Church and so we have a couple of thriving ministries reaching out to it

We serve hot chocolate and cakes to anyone who fancies one. You’ll find us outside the church in all weathers!

Check out our vision for the future

The Recovery Course is a free fifteen-week Christ-centered course for adults based on the Twelve Steps. It provides practical insight and support to help anyone on the path to freedom from the grip of any addiction, secret habit or compulsive behaviour.
Each session includes food, a short presentation followed by discussion in small groups.

CoGS Craft Club
Usually 3rd Saturday of the month
2pm – 4pm
Come and try you hand at a different craft each week. A great place to meet others, chat and learn a new skill each month.

Vintage Wine
1st Wednesday of the month
1:45pm – 3pm
Monthly fellowship for the new wine. No wine I’m afraid! But lots of interesting topics, always food and good company.

Crookhorn Fun Run
1st Saturday in July 10am
5k run-walk push
Come and join us for a fun morning together as we go from Crookhorn Precinct, along Portsdown Hill, cut the corner as we go down Hilltop Crescent and continue downhill to Purbrook. Finally back to the precinct via Stakes Road and Crookhorn Lane.
