Giving to CoGS

Your giving allows us to do what we do here at CoGS, including our Sunday services, children and youth, Bus Stop Ministries, Holidays at home, Christmas Lunch and everything else we do.
Thank you.

The Parish Giving Scheme is our preferred method of receiving gifts. It is quite similar to giving by monthly standing order, but has some helpful additional features.

You may set up a regular donation (monthly, quarterly, annually) with gift aid using a direct debit. PGS (Parish Giving Scheme) collects the money on the 1st of each month and allows the option to increase your gift in line with inflation each year. To sign up you will need to have your personal bank account details.

Set up ONLINE, by PHONE or POST A FORM

  • The PGS Code for Crookhorn: 290629069

  • PGS Phone: 0333 002 1260 (open Mon/Fri – 9am to 5pm)

  • An application FORM pack is available for collection from the Parish Office

If you are an EXISTING DONOR please cancel your standing order with Crookhorn from the month your new policy will start, only do so after you have received confirmation from PGS that your account has been set up.

Giving Online

Giving online is really easy for One Off gifts and it works for all devices.

Regular giving is really helpful to us in that it allows us to make strategic decisions.

Other Ways to give:

  • through the Parish Giving Scheme (See below)
  • payroll giving (through your employer’s Give As You Earn scheme).
  • from a charity account (CAF, Stewardship, Charities Trust etc) by standing order, online transfer or voucher.
  • cash or cheque in the offertory box at the back of church (UK taxpayers please use a Gift Aid envelope).
  • card reader machine at back of church

If you are a UK taxpayer, we can significantly increase your contribution by reclaiming tax under the Gift Aid scheme at no additional cost to you. Please complete a Gift Aid Form and return to Sally Walker.  The declaration covers all donations made in any form (standing order, cheques, cash) as long as they can be identified as coming from you.

If you have any questions or want any more information about church finances please contact Steve Furby our Treasurer:
