Our Mission
Our mission is to follow Jesus the Good Shepherd by growing as a community who walk together with God, live together with each other, and serve together with Crookhorn.
We seek to be a church of welcome, worship, and witness — open to the Holy Spirit, grounded in Scripture, and committed to loving our neighbours with compassion, hope, and practical care.
We aim to nurture faith across all ages, build a culture of prayer and discipleship, and join in with God’s transforming work in our community so that every person may flourish and know they are loved.
Our Vision
Our vision is:
to be a Christ‑centred, Spirit‑led, community‑focused church where people of all ages can encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, and join in God’s mission to Crookhorn.
Our Values
Our Prayer
We are the Church of the Good Shepherd, called to be a people shaped by the love of Jesus and sent to share that love in Crookhorn.
We commit ourselves to walk together with God — seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit, rooting our life in prayer and Scripture, and growing in faith, hope, and love.
We commit ourselves to live together with each other — welcoming all ages, backgrounds, and stories, building one another up, and choosing grace, kindness, and unity in all things.
We commit ourselves to serve together with Crookhorn — standing with our community, offering hospitality, compassion, and practical care, and joining in with what God is already doing here.
By God’s grace, we will be a church of open doors, open hearts, and open hands, seeking the flourishing of every person and the transformation of our neighbourhood in the name of Jesus Christ our Shepherd and Lord.
Amen.
