Junior Church

Each week we meet together, pray and play together, worship together and have lots of fun together.

The Zone

Sadly during the pandemic our children’s activities cannot be run in person.

Mid-week groups for Youth and children over 4 years

Kids Zone Fridays (during term time) – 5:15-6.30pm- Ages 4-10 years

Kids Zone is the place to be, where children can come to have fun and take part in games, craft activities, nail painting and competitions. They get to listen to awesome talks from the Bible and so much more!
Come and join us for Fun, Games, Competitions and to learn about the love God has for you. Hope to see you there!

The Zone Fridays (during term time) – 7-8.45pm – Ages 11-17 years Due to the current Covid 19 situation we are unable to run this groups at present. Come and join us for a good, home-cooked meal, followed by games, crafts and bible study . £2 entry 7pm Registration, Finish 8:45pm We all enjoy a Cooked meal and pudding together, then have organised games and Bible study and fun. Once a month we will not meet as the Zone, instead we invite you to join us and young people from across the City of Portsmouth at a joint youth service (High Tide).

High Tide

Once Monthly City Wide Youth Event- Awesome worship, prayer, Relevant teaching and an amazing sense of community

Running on Friday evenings at various churches around the City. Email Clare@cogs.org.uk for upcoming dates and venues.

The Zone will not be running on Fridays when the High Tide Service is on.

Mid-week groups for children aged 0-4 years

Due to the current Covid 19 situation we are unable to run our toddler groups at present. We are working very hard to work out a safe way of meeting together again and as soon as we are able to we will update the website and contact those we have details for. We look forward to the day when we are able to open up our doors to you again. We miss you all. Tuesday & Weddnesday Toddlers

Due to the current Covid 19 situation we are unable to run these groups at present.

When: Tuesdays 10 – 11:30am and Wednesdays 9:45 – 11:15am (term time only) (Please check the calendar for confirmation).

Who is it for? Parents and carers with children 0-4 years

How much does it cost? Only £1.50 per family.

A fun place to be if you want your little one to let off steam!

Come to us for playtime, craft, a chat, a vent(!), songs and a cup of tea and cake.

No pre-registration necessary, just turn up and we’ll register your details.

Tots n’ Tunes — Thursday 10am to 11.00am (term time only)

Tots n’ Tunes provides an action-packed musical hour for Tots and their Mums, Dads, Grandparents or Carers. We sing, jump around, shake bean bags, wave flags and generally have fun. It is suitable for all pre-school youngsters and allows many happy memories to be made.

No pre-registration necessary, just turn up and we’ll register your details. £1.50 per family.

Sunday Morning Groups

Junior Church and Creche

Who is it for: Children and babies up to 10 years old Junior church and creche is for our children and babies; each week we meet together, pray and play together, worship together and have lots of fun together. Junior Church includes an area for the smallest members of our church equipped with toys. We want to empower our small people to grow in love with Jesus and be the world changers they were created to be. A typical session would include the following:

Refuel

Due to the current Covid 19 situation we are unable to run our Sunday morning groups at present. Who is it for: Young people aged 11-17years we meet together Sunday mornings during the service to enjoy Hot chocolate, cookies and biblical discussions. We aim to empower our young people to boldly share Jesus in all that they do and to be the young men and women of God they were created to be.
