Youth & Children's groups

Children, Youth & Families are not an add‑on at CoGS — they are central to our identity and our mission.

We believe:

• Children are disciples now, not “disciples in waiting”.
• Young people bring prophetic insight, creativity, and courage.
• Families are places where faith is nurtured daily, not just on Sundays.
• Intergenerational worship strengthens the whole church.
• Investing in children and youth is investing in the future of CoGS.

Our ministry is built around:

• Sunday groups that teach Scripture, prayer, and discipleship in age‑appropriate ways.
• Weekday groups that build community, confidence, and faith.
• Family engagement that supports parents and carers as primary disciplers.
• School partnerships that allow us to bless Crookhorn’s children beyond our walls.
• Inclusive practice that welcomes children with additional needs, disabilities, or learning differences.
• Volunteer development that nurtures leaders with passion, skill, and pastoral sensitivity.

Children, Youth & Families ministry is woven into the whole fabric of CoGS — not siloed, but integrated.

All leaders and helpers at our groups and activities have received regular appropriate safeguarding training.
